1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Currents website and the services we provide through it (together, the “Services”), operated by CoStudio Pte Ltd (UEN 202127467N) (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in Singapore at 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation, and “you” refers to both you and that organisation.
2. The services and our products
Currents is a trend intelligence platform. Our products — including Trends (tubetrends.ai), Placements (adzaps.com), MyCoCreator (mycocreator.ai), and the Currents API — provide trend intelligence derived from publicly available social video data, delivered as briefs, dashboards, lists, exports, and programmatic interfaces.
Individual products may carry their own terms on their own sites. Where product-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the product-specific terms govern your use of that product. We may add, change, or remove features, impose usage limits, or suspend the Services for maintenance at any time.
3. Accounts and access
Where the Services require an account or API key, you are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for all activity under them. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us immediately at hello@currentsplatform.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services in violation of applicable law or these Terms;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services without our written consent;
- access the Services by automated means (scrapers, bots, crawlers) beyond what we expressly permit;
- interfere with the Services or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or accounts; or
- use the Services to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content.
5. Intellectual property
The Services — including software, content, analyses, scoring models, and design — are owned by CoStudio Pte Ltd or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for your internal business purposes during your subscription term. Nothing in these Terms transfers intellectual property rights to you, and you may not use our names, logos, or trademarks without our prior written consent.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content and data you submit to the Services. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and process it solely to operate and improve the Services. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you submit.
7. Fees
Paid Services are billed as described at purchase or in a separate order form. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated. We may change fees with reasonable notice, effective from your next renewal.
8. Third-party services
The Services use YouTube API Services and may link to or interoperate with other third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms — including the YouTube Terms of Service. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any signal, score, or analysis will be accurate or complete. Verify any insight independently before acting on it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoStudio Pte Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or S$100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify CoStudio Pte Ltd against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5, 9, 10, and 11) survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
14. Changes and contact
